Young Folk's Tennis
Mission:
Winston-Salem Young Folks Tennis was founded to introduce the lifetime sport of Tennis to the youth of Winston-Salem and surrounding areas.
About:
Winston-Salem Tennis began this program over 35 years ago to introduce the game of tennis to youngsters in our community! It is a year round program offering free, one hour clinics on Saturday mornings at various facilities in our area.
General Information:
Our FREE YFT Clinics are overseen by local Certified Teaching Processionals. The clinic are based at Tanglewood Community Tennis Center, Glenn High School tennis courts, 4th of July Park, Joe White Tennis Center (Hanes Park) and Taylor Tennis Center during the winter months.
- Free group clinics for all youth ages 5 and up
- NEW LOCATION Glenn High School Tennis Courts
- Saturdays 1:00-2:00 beginning April 6, 2019
- Equipment provided
- No sign up required, just show up
- IMPORTANT NOTE - No parking along road, we will have parking lot available

Young Tennis Lessons
- Saturdays 2:30-3:30 beginning April 6
- Glenn High School Tennis Courts
- open to all youth who are ready for more instruction
- open to ages 5 and up, class size is limited
- 5 weeks $75

Middle School and High School Group Drillls and Fun Matches
- Sundays 4:30-6:00 beginning April 7 (no tennis Easter Sunday 4/21)
- Last session June 9
- Location Glenn High School
- open to intermediate level and up players, no beginners please
- Ages 11 and up
- FREE!!
- Mike Willer will organize fun drills and matches. This is the perfect place for older kids to get match experience in a fun, no pressure environment.
